Exploring Gnome Anne's Enchanting World

Welcome to a place where kindness is the currency and friendship blooms in every garden. Welcome to Gnome Anne's Land, where a little grace goes a long way.

If you have been looking for wholesome stories, charming characters, and educational fun for the little ones in your life, you have arrived at the perfect destination. This magical world, nestled in the Valley of Plenty, is home to a cast of delightful gnomes who teach important lessons about helping others, staying organized, and finding joy in everyday adventures.

Let's take a stroll through the valley and meet some of the friends waiting for you.

Gnome Anne

At the heart of our story is Gnome Anne herself. She lives in Grace Cottage and is known throughout the Valley of Plenty for her gentle spirit.

In the first book of the series, Gnome Anne's Land, we see just how special she is. While some might think small acts of kindness go unnoticed, Gnome Anne proves otherwise. By simply showing kindness to her friend Gnome Ad, she indirectly saves the day for the Lord Mayor of Genesee. She is a wonderful reminder to children (and adults!) that you don't need to be big or loud to make a significant difference in your community.

Gnome Anne isn't alone in her adventures. As the series grows, so does her circle of friends and family:

  • Gnome Ore: Anne’s younger sister who loves to bury her nose in a good book.
  • Gnome Ess & Gnome Aid: The helpful twin sisters who love organizing and tidying up at Neat House.
  • Gnome Otto: A natural leader who guides his friends from Otto's Grotto.

You can follow their latest journey in the newest book, Where Gnome Anne Has Gone Before, where a snowy day out leads to a mishap—and a heartwarming rescue by friends.

Gnome Otto’s Mottos Activity

Gnome Otto is the group's natural leader. He loves to guide his friends and share wisdom. One of the best ways to engage children with the themes of leadership and guidance found in Time Waits For Gnome Anne is through our "Gnome Otto’s Mottos" activity.

Encourage your children to come up with their own family mottos or rules for being a good friend. It’s a great conversation starter about values like honesty, bravery, and listening. You can even create a poster for your home, just like something you might find on the walls of Otto's Grotto!

Educational Gnome Printables

We believe that learning should be as fun as a picnic in the Forest of Bounty. That's why the world of Gnome Anne extends beyond the pages of the books.

We offer a variety of educational printables designed to reinforce the themes found in the stories. Whether your child is like Gnome Ore and loves reading, or like Gnome Ess and enjoys sorting and organizing, there is something here for every little learner. These resources are perfect for parents and teachers looking to add a touch of magic to their lesson plans.

Free Printable Gnome Activities

Our collection of free printable activities brings the Valley of Plenty right to your kitchen table. From coloring pages featuring Adore Villa and Grace Cottage to word searches filled with character names, these downloads provide hours of entertainment.

It is a wonderful way for children to interact with the characters they have grown to love in the books, allowing their imaginations to expand beyond the written stories.

Gnome Ad's Maths Challenge

In the first book, we meet Gnome Ad, a friend whom Gnome Anne helps. But did you know Gnome Ad has a knack for numbers?

For children who enjoy puzzles and problem-solving, Gnome Ad's Maths Challenge is a fantastic resource. These challenges turn arithmetic into an adventure. They are designed to be approachable and fun, helping children build confidence in their math skills without it feeling like a chore. It’s the perfect blend of storytelling and skill-building.
